As CEO and Co-Owner of Money Positive, Kelly Hart Bethke helps shape the vision, operations, and culture behind a financial planning firm designed to do things differently. She leads the organization’s operations and stakeholder engagement while helping ensure Money Positive remains a values-driven cooperative focused on expanding access to financial guidance.

Kelly’s path to financial services began with a simple observation: too many people fell into the gap between traditional financial planning and having no guidance at all. She was inspired by the opportunity to build an organization that gives everyday people access to the knowledge, tools, and support they need to improve their financial lives.

With an MBA focused on Sustainable Systems and Social Impact Finance, Kelly brings more than two decades of leadership experience spanning sustainability consulting, operations, systems thinking, and organizational strategy. Prior to leading Money Positive, she spent a decade in sustainability consulting and has served in executive leadership and board roles for organizations committed to positive social impact.

Kelly believes financial wellness is about creating peace of mind and that reducing financial stress can improve nearly every aspect of a person’s life. She is especially proud of Money Positive’s human-centered approach, helping people from all walks of life feel supported and empowered.

Outside of work, Kelly enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors. She also volunteers in youth entrepreneurship and community leadership initiatives and is always looking for new ways to help businesses become a greater  force for good.
